About Dragon Moon
  • Our History   ( 1 Article )

Dragon Moon got it's start around 1993. I say around 1993 because that's when I started planning and looking for good books--but we didn't actually get the first books published until 1997.

We launched with two titles: The Daughter of Dragons, by Kathleen H. Nelson, and Twilight of the Fifth Sun, by David Sakmyster. Since then we've published a long list of titles in the soft science fiction, fantasy, horror and paranormal categories. We also have done a few non-fiction writing guides.

We're a small, friendly, open press. We all work together like on big (occassionally disfunctional) family, and we like it that way.

Dragon Moon titles are available through retailers across North America. Because we're small you may have to special order them.

Note to the trade: titles are availabe directly through DMP, via Baker&Taylor or Ingram.
We do use short run print technology when it makes sense--being up here in Canada shipping costs can mean it's impossible to break even (let alone) profit on a title if we have to ship it from here!

We try to be forward thinking in how we get product to you. If you have a question feel free to contact us!
