It's true. Most of us who work for Dragon Moon, from myself (the publisher), to editors and artists, we are basically doing this as volunteers. There may occassionally be a tiny paycheck for our editors or artists,  or a small perk (maybe a cup of coffee if I'm lucky!), but mostly we work for free. I certainly do. Some day there is this hope that DMP will be successful enough that we can get paid to do what we love! But for now we motor along to bring you books that you can love, stories that can inspire and authors you can adore.

How can you help, you say? There's two ways: buy books...buy lots of books! (for everyone you know, come on... who wouldn't love a book for every special occassion and a few not-so-special ones!) and offer your services. We can always, and I do mean ALWAYS, use some help. Always.

At long last... the cover for Scimitar Moon, complete and ready to go! Actually, I have to give kudos to our new art direct, Alex White. The cover was ready darn quick and looked so cool - it was just regular production stuff that had us running tight to the schedule. We're trying to get Chris copies for Dragon*Con, so if you're going to be there, please visit his booth in the dealers room (Jax Books).

Chris and I talked for literally years about doing a book together. I'm glad that day has finally come.
